How do I prepare for my first visit?Everything that you'll need to do before the first visit will be on the portal. There is a link to the portal in the top right corner. Under "Account Details" you'll fill out your insurance information and upload an image of your insurance card (front and back). You'll also find all the intake forms/questionnaires under the "Forms & Questionnaires" tab that will need to be filled out prior to your first visit. This will allow us to jump right in at our first visit.

What if my insurance isn't in network? Can I still be seen?Yes! If you have a FSA/HSA you are able to use this if this applies. For those that we would be out of network- most are still able to use their out of network benefits and get some reimbursement. It is recommended to call your insurance to gain an understanding of your coverage.

What is Functional Medicine?Functional medicine is a systems biology–based approach that focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of disease. This means we are looking for the reason and the "Why?" something is happening and not just treating or masking the symptoms. We focus on making sure systems are optimized. Gut health, hormone health, cortisol balancing -- these are just a few things that we'll be touching on.
